Tac was bred, raised and raced by the legendary Double Bar S Ranch LLC in Moreno Valley, California and then finished his racing career in Texas.  What has to be said about his sire First Down Dash?  An amazing race record of Starts: 15 Wins: 13(8) 2nds: 1(1) 3rds: 0 with earnings of $857,256.  Then he went to the breeding shed and bested himself by siring 33 Champions earning 50 Championships and 7 millionaires.  His dam Jumping Tac Flash had a truly stellar racing career of Starts: 15 Wins: 7(2) 2nds: 4(2) 3rds: 1(1) with earnings of $147,065.  Being such an amazing mare she was embryo enrolled in 1994 and from 2000 until present.  Of her 9 offspring, she has produced 9 winners, five stakes winners and two stakes placed runners.  She also happens to be a Full Sister to Splash Bac si 93.  Her Sire Tolltac si 113 has a chart topping race record of Starts: 18 Wins: 12(5) 2nds: 4(1) 3rds: 0(0) with jaw dropping earnings of $1,143,043.

 

 Even though Tac was produced through Embryo Transfer he does not have an unusual amount of siblings.  His full siblings include brother Tac It Like A Man si 98 Starts: 10 Wins: 5(2) 2nds: 0(0) 3rds: 2(0) with earnings of $397,250.  He stands at Lazy E in 2013 for $3000.00.  A brother A Tac First si 97 a grade 1 stakes placer, sister Flash First si105 with 5 wins and earnings of $351,719 and sister Imjumpn si94 who is a stakes winner.  Tac has a maternal Half Brother Carters Cartel si 103 who placed in 9 out of 10 outs earning $659,146.  The greatest performance of his career came in the Ed Burke Memorial final when he won the 350 yard race in:17.179 which broke the 16-year-old track record of :17.220 set by Champion Corona Chick in 1991.  Carters Cartel will stand at the Lazy E Ranch in 2013 for a fee of $6,000.

 

 Even though Tac possesses Gladiator Stature, we feel he is going to make an exceptional barrel horse.  He has a short back, long underline and v’s nicely in the chest.  The angles of his poll, shoulder and pasterns all match.  His hocks are low and he has a powerhouse of a rump.  He has a tremendous stride but is also exceptionally smooth.  He carries himself with pride and elegance and if all else fails, he is going to look like a million bucks trying!!!
