Frostys’ sire is Doc Bar on top his dam is Doc Bar top and bottom.

 

At 3 years he had 2 months reining training with World Champion Steve Schwartzenberger.  Purchased June of his 4th year he was started on barrels and in September at the 1992 Diamond Five Barrel Futurity (58 entries) he placed 4th first go, 4th second go and finished 4th overall.  He learned the pattern early on and required no assistance making a run.  Frosty was used at 5, 6 and again at 9 for rodeos and jackpots. Was an excellent backup horse as he was extremely consistent,  never bumped a barrel and did not require conditioning.

 

Retired apart from a riding horse for visiting nieces, with the odd barrel run. He enjoys patrolling the pasture and guarding his herd from outsiders (anyone on the other side of the fence).
